Small and Medium Events Program

The Small and Medium Events Program provides grants to event organisers to assist with the costs of planning and running events in Greater Melbourne.

This program is now closed. Applications closed for this program on 28 February 2023.

About the program

As part of the Small and Medium Events Program, 122 event organisers were approved to share in almost $3 million funding to deliver events between 1 June and 31 December 2023. Grants between $5,000 and $50,000 (excl. GST) were provided to attract more visitors, boost employment, and support local businesses.

The line-up of events appeals to music, sport, culture and arts fans. The events will keep our suburbs buzzing, and events industry workers, businesses and their suppliers busy.
