Jacques Reymond Restaurant wins top food award

Renowned Melbourne restaurant Jacques Reymond was announced as the Lavazza Restaurant of the Year at the 2008 Restaurant & Catering Awards for Excellence last month.

The award completes an outstanding year for Jacques Reymond is also one of only two restaurants to receive a three hat rating in newly released 2009 Age Good Food Guide (the other being Vue de Monde).

An iconic Melbourne restaurant and fine dining experience, Jacques Reymond has built a reputation for its outstanding degustation menu that utilises French techniques, the finest Australian produce and combination of Asian influences and textures.

The Reymond family will soon announce exciting new changes to the menu for its other eatery, Arintji, a brasserie bar in Federation Square, which recently welcomed a new head chef, Joe Grbac, formerly of Bistro Guillaume.
