Wine and family time at Yarra Valley’s Mandala Wines
Mandala Wines is one of Valley’s newest wine and food destination.
The new Mandala Wines Restaurant and Lounge features a Mediterranean inspired menu of regional and Victorian produce and family recipes created by head chef Mauro Callegari (formerly of Fenix) whose culinary experience has been honed through his work across Argentina, England and Australia.
Visitors can also sample the Mandala’s wine range - Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon - at the winery’s new cellar door.
A la carte dining and an interesting list of wines from Mandala and other leading producers, is available in the restaurant at lunchtime (Thursday to Monday) and dinner (Friday and Saturday), while a casual bar menu of delicious tapas style plates, can be enjoyed in the lounge. Visitors in September will be treated to a complimentary tapas dish when they order a glass of Mandala wine in the lounge between 4 and 6pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
Mandala Wines is located on the Melba Highway, seven kilometres north of Yarra Glen, in one of the Valley’s most visited areas.
