Escape to an oasis of luxury in the Mornington Peninsula

Lakeside Villas at Crittenden Estate

The completion of Lakeside Villas at Crittenden Estate, located a 90-minute drive from Melbourne in the Mornington Peninsula, has been the realisation of a dream for owners Margaret and Garry Crittenden who have operated the winery for 25 years.

Overlooking the tranquil lake at Crittenden Estate - one of the Peninsula’s oldest vineyards - these brand new villas feature large balconies, open plan living/dining areas, a fully functional kitchen, double spa baths, king size beds and an authentic wood fire heater.

Tariffs include a full gourmet cooked breakfast supplied to the villa each morning. Wherever possible, Margaret uses local produce and will often make the conserves and chutneys on site. Local fresh leaf tea and plunger coffee can also be found in the villas.

Villas sleep two adults (twin bedsare available on request, but a fold-out sofa allows for additional guests at an extra cost of $50 per person per night.

Acclaimed restaurant Stillwater at Crittenden is open for lunch daily and for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. Bookings are recommended by calling (03) 5981 9555. Other property facilities include a tennis court (racquets and balls supplied) and a lakeside walk.

Further afield, explore the abundance of vineyards and orchards tucked away among the rolling hills of nearby towns Red Hill and Main Ridge. Wineries and restaurants overlook the blue waters of Port Phillip Bay to the west and Western Port Bay to the east and the peninsula's orchards sell fresh produce direct from the farm gate.
