Spring Racing at the River
Crown Riverside by the Yarra River is set to become the number one destination to experience the Melbourne Cup Carnival away from the racetrack.
For eight days commencing Friday 31 October, Crown Riverside – the outside promenade area directly in front of Crown Casino and next to the Yarra River – will become the Carnival Live Site, presenting a huge program race-related activities including: live entertainment; a purpose-built bar, marquee and beer garden; an onsite TAB; the L'Oréal Paris Powder Room as well as showing live feeds of the races on a huge outdoor screen.
The Carnival Live Site will also be a prime Spring Racing Carnival after-party venue, with shuttle buses running between Flemington and the Carnival Live site on key race days.
