Platypus Paddle tours on the Goulburn River
Australian Adventure Experience has created a rare opportunity to view the platypus in its natural environment with its platypus paddle tours along the lower Goulburn River.
The half day tour takes visitors down the Goulburn River by raft where the platypus, normally nocturnal and very shy by nature, can be observed in the daytime in very quiet secluded areas.
The half day tour, which departs from Alexandra (about two hrs drive from Melbourne CBD) is suitable for children over eight to the mature aged explorer, and takes place all year round.
