New charter yacht the Platinum redefines luxury cruising

New ‘super yacht’ the Platinum is offering visitors the chance to experience some of some of Victoria’s most spectacular coastline at a new level of opulence.

Created by Jack Mackeddie from Mackeddie Marine, the Platinum was commissioned in August 2008 with a price tag close to $20 million dollars, the first luxury vessel of its type available for charter in and around Melbourne.

Boasting three spacious levels of fashionable decks and reaching 38 metres in length, the Platinum can accommodate up to 10 guests in exclusive comfort for overnight stays or extended trips and up to 120 for day charter trips or cocktail functions.

Likened to a private luxury hotel on water, the Platinum is professionally equipped for entertaining, with numerous catering options available.
