The ‘Riding Adventure' package starts from $2,850 per person (based on four adults sharing) and includes a day-and-a-half of horse riding to the Otways Gellibrand River flats, along the Southern Ocean's beaches to Princetown for a picnic lunch; two nights' accommodation; breakfast and dinner daily; a selection of beverages; and a personal concierge and housekeeper.
Led by accomplished riding instructors Neil and Jenny of Otway Riding, clients follow trails carved out by local Aboriginals, and the timber trails of years gone by to witness towering eucalypts, unique birdlife and laughing cries of kookaburras.
Returning to the luxurious pleasures of the Lodge, guests can rest their weary muscles in the Villeroy and Boch oversized bath, indulge in their favourite drink and four-course meal prepared by a personal chef, and collapse into their deluxe Savoir bed (the only type of its kind in Australia).
