The Adelphi hotel, located on Flinders Lane, has just opened a new Hepburn Spa, which is the only one of its kind in Melbourne.
Hepburn Spa at Adelphi is the first boutique spa to open seven days a week from 10am to 10pm. It offers a range of spa experiences, each lasting for no less than 90 minutes to ensure that guests are provided with a profoundly relaxing and memorable experience.
The spa use the natural Australian LI'TYA spa range for all of its treatments which are based on indigenous dreamtime philosophies. Selected products are also available for purchase. All spa experiences begin with a foot bath ritual and indigenous smudging ceremony.
Special features include a steam room, rain shower, vichy shower and treatments for couples.
The spa's signature experience is the ‘Turkish rasul', which has been custom designed by spa industry innovator, Hydroco. It features heated mosaic tiles, traditional steam, mist and drench showers and a vichy shower - the combination of which represents an industry first and ability to deliver unique ‘treatment journeys'.
Hepburn Spa at Adelphi is located on the ninth floor, the same floor as the Adelphi's famous glass bottom pool, which is available for use by spa patrons.
