Mirka at Tolarno Hotel

Melbourne restaurateur Guy Grossi, of Grossi Florentino fame, has just launched his newest venture, Mirka at Tolarno Hotel, on St Kilda’s vibrant Fitzroy St.

It opens the latest chapter on the somewhat controversial recent history of the restaurant at the Tolarno Hotel, which was previously owned by restaurateur/ television chef Iain Hewitson.

The new restaurant has interiors designed by Melbourne architect Peter Elliot which are combined with restoration of pre-existing Mirka Mora murals and the commissioning of several more to create a bright, modern and welcoming atmosphere.

Grossi’s contemporary menu features unique items such as snails, Russian eggs, chateaubriand with sauce Colbert, and nougat crepes. Co-head chefs are Grossi Florentino emigres Anthony D'Augello and Dominic Marzano.
