Erica Cottages (22 Station Street, Erica)
New B&B Erica Cottages has opened in the original Station Masters Cottage in Erica, a tiny hamlet close on the old Walhalla Gold Fields line in East Gippsland. Built in the 1900s, the cottage served as the residence for the station master in Erica. The lovingly restored solid stone building is steeped with character but features all the modern comforts. Guests can enjoy a generous continental breakfast or self cater in the beautifully appointed kitchen with granite benchtops and a full complement of modern appliances. The two-bedroom cottage sleeps up to six people comfortably, suiting families or a romantic getaway, and also contains two lounge rooms, a spa bath and a back deck from which guests can soak up uninterrupted views.
