A tempting offer from Mornington Peninsula
With its unique blend of wineries and beautiful coastal beaches, Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula is always an enticing destination, but it will be simply irresistible this winter when the ‘Wine Winter Passport’ gives travellers the chance to win a $3,000 wine cellar.
Twenty of the region’s finest wineries, boutique accommodation and wine tour operators will take part in the event, stamping visitors’ passports each time a wine purchase is made between 12 June and 31 August.
Once a visitor has five stamps they’re eligible for the $3,000 wine cellar prize containing around 10 dozen of the Peninsula’s finest wines.
The second prize is a Mornington Peninsula ‘stay and dine’ weekend package at Max’s Retreat at Red Hill, with a bottle of Red Hill Estate Sparkling Wine and a voucher to dine at a nearby restaurant, valued at $500.
Third prize is a wine tour package including accommodation for two at luxurious Lindenderry at Red Hill, and a one-day winery tour with Amour of the Grape for up to four people, also valued at $500.
The visitor who produces the most heavily stamped passport will win a bottle of wine from each participating cellar, along with two Luigi Bormioli Bourgogne glasses, valued at $20 each. Complimentary Luigi Bormioli Bourgogne glasses will also be given to visitors who buy at least six bottles of wine from a single vineyard.
Passports are available from the Visitor Centre, Mornington Peninsula Vignerons Association and all participating operators. Every visitor at the Winter Wine Fest at Red Hill Reserve on 9 June will also receive a passport.
