Winter wine passport to rich rewards
A visit to the Mornington Peninsula, producer of some of the Australia’s most celebrated pinot noir, has just become even more enticing thanks to the region’s current Winter Wine Passport promotion which offers visitors the chance to win some fantastic food, wine and accommodation including a $3000 wine cellar of the Peninsula’s finest wines.
Running until 31 August, the Mornington Peninsula Winter Wine Passport involves 40 local wineries, restaurants, boutique accommodation and wine tour operators.
Visitors can obtain a free passport from any participating business or by calling the Mornington Peninsula Visitor Information Centre on 1800 804 009. The passports can also be requested online at www.visitmorningtonpeninsula.org.
Passports are stamped each time a purchase is made. Once a visitor has five stamps they will be eligible for the $3000 wine cellar prize, as well as other prizes including a ‘stay, dine and ride weekend package for two’ at Lindenderry at Red Hill and a Luigi Bormioli set of fine glassware valued at $500.
