Escape to a blissful spa in the Macedon Ranges

Macedon resturant

Located in the midst of Macedon's Black Forest area, Macedon Spa is a new complex which combines accommodation, restaurant, spa facilities and a function centre in a picturesque hillside location.

Macedon Spa lies at the foot of Mount Macedon, the gateway to the beautiful Macedon Ranges in central Victoria which incorporates the charming towns of Woodend, Kyneton, Lancefield, Gisborne, Macedon and Mt Macedon.

Macedon Spa Hotel has 36 rooms, consisting of standard spa rooms ($200 per double), Starlight Rooms ($265 per double) featuring a large spa with sky views, and the lavish Starlight Deluxe suite ($290 per double) with a corner spa, large lounge and views out to Mount Macedon. Enjoy a dip in the Macedon Day Spa's indoor spa and heated pool, which is included in the room rate.

Fancy a chocolate truffle body wrap? Or perhaps a Poppy Seed Microderm Facial is more to your liking? These are just some of the tempting treatments on offer at the Macedon Day Spa, which has two treatment rooms, a Vichy shower (a treatment that relies on the healing benefits of the traditional spa waters), and a plunge pool.

Macedon Views Restaurant serves great value, generous meals with classic Italian flavours in a beautiful setting boasting magnificent views of Mount Macedon. It is open for lunch or dinner seven days a week. For bookings phone 03 5426 4033.

To celebrate the opening of Macedon Spa, they are offering a special package in July and August – couples can each enjoy an hour massage, a two course dinner and overnight accommodation in a standard spa room for only $375 (per couple).

Macedon Spa is also running a mid-week special (including Friday night) - take $40 off the rack rate of any room – so a standard room is just $160 and a deluxe suite is only $250.
