Feast for friends at Mandala Wines, Yarra Valley, 8 March
New boutique winery Mandala Wines are inviting foodies, their family and friends to a Mediterranean-inspired barbeque prepared by head chef Mauro Callegari. To be held on their sun-soaked lawns, ‘Feast for Friends’ is an ideal time to sample Mandala’s range of wines and enjoy the smooth sounds of acoustic tunes.
The Bellarine Seafood and Wine Dinner, Portarlington, 20 March
A decadent display of tastebud tempting talent will be joining forces to produce an evening of glorious produce, fine wine, live music (from the Andrea Marr blues ban)and frivolity that is the Bellarine Seafood Dinner. Showcasing the flavours of summer, The Bellarine’s best chefs from award winning restaurants including The Vue Grand, The Atrium Bar and Café, Bellarine Estate, Oakdene and The Ol’ Duke; will collaborate to create a five-course menu featuring local seasonal produce matched to the region's finest wines.
Red Hill Long Lunch, 13 March
Now in its eighth year, the Red Hill Long Lunch, held at Ashcombe Maze and Lavender Gardens on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula, is truly regional showcase where eight chefs and 12 wineries work together with Chisholm students and many volunteers to create a lunch to remember for 250 guests – a fine three course meal on one long table.
