Gippsland regional cheese tasting

Brandy Creek Wines and View Café, known for their award-winning estate wines and Spanish food and have added another dimension to their visitors’ food and wine experience:  a cheese tasting centre showcasing locally made product.

Operating in a similar fashion to a winery cellar door, the new Gippsland Regional Cheese Tasting Centre will make available a range of speciality cheeses for tasting and purchase, also providing tasting notes and knowledgeable staff to assist with customer enquiries.

Cheeses on offer will be sourced from Gippsland’s more well-known artisan cheese makers including product from Berry’s Creek Gourmet Cheese, Capra Organic Goats Cheese, Jindi Cheese, Maffra Cheese varieties and Tarago River Cheese.

The centre also offers cheese tastings matched to wine plates, ‘design your own wine and cheese’ platters, cheese sales with ready to eat specials, and special cheese events featuring the master cheese makers themselves.

While in Gippsland, don’t miss the opportunity to experience Gippsland Inspired!, an indulgent opportunity to stop, slow down and discover the joys and delights of what Gippsland has to offer in food and wine. There will be a host of gourmet events including the Jindi Harvest of Gippsland, the Palate of Passions World’s Longest Lunch, the Inverloch Food and Wine Festival, the Feast on East Harvest Picnic as well as hundreds of workshops, tastings, picnics, and markets.
