The ultimate mountain bike epic comes to North East Victoria

Terra Australis

Victoria’s stunning High Country region will be the location for the inaugural Terra Australis – Great Southern Land Mountain Bike Epic (29 March - April 4), a new 600km cycling event tipped to be the hardest endurance mountain bike event in the Asia-Pacific region.

Competitors in the seven-day race will cycle from the picturesque Falls Creek alpine resort to the Ovens River in Wangaratta, travelling through Dinner Plain, Bright and Beechworth on the way.

Presented with the support of the Victorian State Government, Falls Creek, Dinner Plain Alpine Village, Alpine Shire, Indigo Shire and Rural City of Wangaratta participating cities and resorts, Terra Australia is part of an overall strategy to position North East Victoria as one of the world’s premier cycle tourism destinations.
