Phillip Island's New Eco-Tourism Attraction to open in April
The Nobbies Centre, an exciting new free nature-based attraction at Phillip Island, opens in April on the western top of the Island.
The new state-of-the-art centre will allow visitors to learn about Victoria's incredible marine diversity and to zoom in on wildlife via remote camera technology - the only of its kind in an Australian tourism attraction.
The main attractions at the centre will be high powered cameras stationed at Seal Rocks which visitors can use to take their own photos of the seal colony on the rocks - the closest seal colony found near any capital city in Australia.
The new centre will complement Phillip Island Nature Park's existing attractions including the world famous Penguin Parade, the Koala Conservation Centre and the historic Churchill Island Heritage Farm.
There will also be a café and function centre onsite.
Phillip Island Nature Park, located 90-minutes' drive south east of Melbourne, is a world leader in wildlife research, ecotourism, land management and environmental education.
