The Slow Coach – Victoria’s only horse drawn restaurant
Luxurious horse-drawn touring is back in fashion in Healesville for the first time since the end of the early 1900s.
Now tourists have the unique opportunity to raise their glasses to the ring of the bell and the heavy hooves of the famous "Windsor" Clydesdales at the new Slow Coach Horse Drawn Restaurant.
Seating up to eight guests, the fully enclosed restaurant serves sensational modern Australian cuisine to diners as it travels through the streets and parks of the quaint township of Healesville.
The Slow Coach conducts lunch and dinner services from Wednesday to Sunday, departing from The Wattleseed Australian Restaurant, located at 177 Maroondah Highway, Healesville. A breakfast service is also offered in the summer and autumn months.
