Enjoy a starry night in Bendigo

Visitors to Bendigo, located in the heart of Victoria’s goldfields region, can immerse themselves in the world of stars at a brand new planetarium.

The Bendigo Planetarium is a state of the art digital facility that will seat up to 60 people and showcase the almost limitless phenomena in the sky above.

This exciting new facility will offer interactive shows daily at 11:30am and 1.30pm with night shows and a lecture series with invited guest speakers to follow shortly after.

The Planetarium is a new addition to Bendigo’s science centre, known as ‘Discovery’.  Other recent initiatives at Discovery have included Kaleidoscope, Discovery’s centre for children eight and under (opened in June 2006) and a complete centre makeover including an all new area for birthday parties, which opened this month.

Entry to the Bendigo Planetarium is free with normal Discovery admission prices. Admission prices will apply for special planetarium programs and events.
