Refresh & revive at Melbourne’s new five-star day spa

Kocho

A brand new Japanese-inspired day spa has recently opened in the centre of Melbourne’s CBD, providing weary workers and busy travelers a convenient sanctuary where they can refresh, unwind and revitalise.

Kocho’s fuss-free spa menu offers kasai mayako (bath) rituals, facials, massages (shiatsu, reiki, hot stone therapy), hydrotherapy and chromotherapy treatments, which seek to restore energy and refresh the senses.

With a variety of express 20 and 30-minute services available, city workers will have no problem finding the time to be pampered! For those with a little more time to spare, there are full day retreats which include a traditional Japanese bath ritual, body wrap, relaxation, deep tissue or Shiatsu massage and a facial.

Guests can also share their unique Kocho experience with someone special in the exclusive couple’s suite.

For the ‘Rolls Royce’ of facials, try the 90 minute ‘Restore’ facial. It begins with a soothing back massage and nourishing facial treatment that is designed to smooth and revitalise skin texture and encourage skin renewal. The facial massage is followed by gel and mud masks, a pressure point scalp massage and a luxurious hand massage – leaving you glowing from the inside out!

Kocho’s unique Japanese inspired treatments not only have physical benefits, such as addressing imbalance in the Autonomic Nervous System, stimulating healthy blood flow, relieving muscle tension, and rehydrating the skin, but also addressing emotional well being.

Kocho Spa is located on Level 5, Centre Way, 259 - 263 Collins Street, Melbourne.
